We are an independent, family run, neighbourhood restaurant located in the community of Crouch End, North London. We are passionate about sustainably sourced seafood and our aim is to deliver the highest quality food and service in a relaxed, welcoming yet vibrant environment.
Seafood fans will love our kitchen’s offbeat and creative approach to ingredients. Oysters are firmly under the spotlight here at Lyon’s, with a each variety paired with a particular garnish in order to “amplify and compliment their specific natural flavour”.
Our 62-cover restaurant keeps thing unfussy yet classily comfortable, with muted green banquettes, wooden floors and a white marble bar.
We showcase sustainable seafood mostly sourced from the British Isles with dishes that are designed to be shared. Oysters are served either classically or dressed with specific garnish to compliment the texture and flavours of the individual oysters.
There are also a selection of snacks, smaller and larger plates which always features a whole chargrilled fish and at least one meat dish.
We source the freshest fish possible and respect the quality of ingredients by letting the produce sing. Desserts are a short line up of cheese and two sweet treats.
Our wine list is devised by award winning sommelier Kelvin McCabe and perfectly complements our menu. We champion small producers and you can expect to find a mixture of interesting bottles from sustainable, biodynamic and minimal intervention wines.
The list changes frequently and is compiled of bubbles, a sizeable selection of whites and a small quantity of reds. Our bar also served up a small selection of cocktails and craft beers.
